Portuguese and Spanish Economic Councils Sign Collaboration Agreement
The Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) and Spain's General Council of Economists (CGE) signed a collaboration agreement to promote professional development in accounting and finance across Europe and Latin America.
The agreement, signed in Lisbon by OCC President Paula Franco and CGE President Miguel Ángel Vázquez Taín, aims to enhance international recognition and professional development. The first outcome is a joint certification in 'International Corporate Reporting: Accounting and Sustainability,' targeting Iberian-American professionals operating globally. Both institutions emphasized the agreement's role in fostering a shared professional space and addressing evolving financial reporting standards.
